The young Canadian DJ/Producer has only really been producing electro/house tracks for the past 2 years or so and yet his name and sound resonates throughout the walls of the music blogosphere just as hard as the very basslines he creates. Barletta has been able to push forward a spectacle of captivating remixes since then and has shared stages with already established djs like Fake Blood, Bloody Beetroots, Don Rimini, and Felix Cartel. So what does all this really mean? Well for one, you can expect to hear more from this young Canadian Dj in the coming months. For seconds, he co-released a an original house track called “Drop Out” back in January with upcoming Netherlands DJ Gianni Marino that is simple in nature but thoroughly enjoyable.

This lady can definitely pop it, but can she lock it? It is so refreshing to finally understand the beauty of dancing Hip/Hop for once.

As if anyone needed another reason to love Aeroplane, the duo who, up until a few weeks ago, consisted of Stephen Fasano and Vito De Luca (now De Luca is the sole member), they’ve given us this ridiculously delicious mashup of Flight Facilities’ “Crave You” and their very own remix of Friendly Fires’ “Paris”. Both of these tracks on their own are among my favorites, so mixing the two together is beyond exciting. The track was originally found on their 500th essential mix and they’ve just posted it on Facebook as a thank you to all of their over 10,000 fans. And we couldn’t be more gracious to accept it.

Jade Williams, the UK gal now better known as Sunday Girl (who got her name from working at a pet shop every Sunday where nobody knew her name while in school), had a horrible case of stage fright a few years back and couldn’t sing with anyone around. Lucky for us, she got over that fear and is making her way up the current list of rising female pop stars. And what’s even better than rising female pop stars is rising female pop star remixes. In this case, UK’s Fenech-Soler work their magic on “Self-Control” to give it that deep and heavy synth sound that works so perfectly with Sunday Girl’s ardent vocals. While the original is just as brooding as this version, there’s a whole new dimension of darkness thanks to the touches brought in by the guys of Fenech-Soler.

Magic Kids understand pop music. They know how to use its staples, from melody to harmonies, emotion to catchy lyrics, all this can be found in their new single “Summer”. The song itself is reminiscent of Elvis Costello and Brian Wilson and is guaranteed to make you want to lounge by the pool with a cold drink in your hand. The lyrics are intelligent, yet no arrogance is felt, and the sweet, smooth ending leaves you wanting more. Unfortunately, this is the only available track off the yet-to-be released “Memphis” which is released 8/24 by True Panther.

![3 32 [Must Listen] Music Ninja's Lazy Sunday Mixtape (produced by RAC)](http://themusicninja.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/32.png)

Who likes to work on a Sunday? Hang overs are meant to be slept through! The occasional BBQ or concert is always welcome but on the last day of rest before the much dreaded Monday, Sundays are for sleeping in, catching up on personal projects and doing exactly whatever one wants to do with their time without interruptions. It is with this same attitude of laziness that I present you The Music Ninja’s Lazy Sunday Mixtape mixed by one of the most melodic DJ’s in the music world RAC. Actually the honest truth is that RAC had done this live mix for personal reasons and was kind enough to hook us up with an exclusive download link. Nonetheless, the entire mix cannot describe my feelings this Lazy Sunday more perfectly. I do not want to blog about the latest and greatest, I do not want to review the newest indie band right now… all I want is to relax to the most amazing songs that have dived onto my hears in the past couple of months. I want comfortable recognizable melodies fused into an hour and a half so I can leave it playing a couple times today to really appreciate music, life, and how dirty my room has become as I attempt to clean it. This is a tribute to you, Lazy Music Fan… just press play and do whatever the hell you want on this gorgeous Sunday Morning.

Finally! After being away for about 6 months Jack Beats returns with a groovy electric track titled “Out Of Body”. I was about to start this post saying “prepare to have an out of body experience” but I thought I would spare you the corniness. Although I would not go as far as considering it a banger, this track is definitely banging. Jack Beats have always been a favored Music Ninja dj duo and if you haven’t heard them before please check back some of their previous work.

Off the upcoming Finally Famous Volume 3: B.I.G. mixtape. Big Sean has that attitude packed flow, carefully placing emphasis on his words, and he’s often credited for coming up with the flow that Drake made famous.

Now that he’s got Jay-Z’s stamp of approval, J.Cole is unstoppable. Hailing from North Carolina, he seems to get better every time he drops something, and he’s a smart dude – he went to St. John’s on an academic scholarship and actually graduated, unlike most rappers.

From their upcoming EP Lives and Vibes, I don’t know too much about them but Intalek is the rapper, Ritchcraft is the producer, and this jam rapidly rolls through the positives and negatives of money. The fast pace matches up with the hustle that most of us face chasing that paper on a daily basis.

From The Cool Kids‘ latest mixtape, Tacklebox, this is the smoothest track I’ve heard in a minute. Production by Chuck Inglish this song perfectly epitomizes the duo’s name – cool as fuck.

From the upcoming album How I Got Over. Laid back and buttery, but the lyrics are strikingly real. This is the type of song that will help you make it through a tough morning and provide some motivation to make moves.
