Up-and-coming London act Bastille have taken City High’s ‘What Would You Do?’, and turned it into a polished rendition of a classic track. Dan Smith’s vocal is soulful and deeply emotive, complementing the synths and keys to perfection. A definite one to watch out for next year, Bastille’s ‘Laura Palmer’ EP is out now.

[Indie] Florence + The Machine – Lover To Lover

Acclaimed songstress Florence Welch (and her Machine, of course) is preparing to release her much-anticipated sophomore album, ‘Ceremonials’. Stand-out track ‘Lover To Lover’ features Welch’s mind-blowing vocals as usual, and lyrics on the sub jet of salvation mirror the heavy gospel sound of the song. ‘Lover To Lover’ has the potential to be massive, and with Florence’s ever-growing popularity, it most certainly could be.

[Electro/House] Moby – After (PeaceTreaty Remix)

Spanking new remix by Peace Treaty of Moby’s third single from Destroyed titled “After”. Electro House to its core, the duo released a seductive track today that samples the original melody and vocals yet well buried over the excessive amount of frequently stretched basslines and electronic. This time however, the excessive layering is what makes the track a real electro house song with its pulsating bass, aggressive drops and a goosebumps inducing progressions of strings. Peace Treaty only really used Moby’s original track as a reference point and just ran with it … far far away into BANGER land.

Moby – After (PeaceTreaty Remix) is already receiving support from Steve Angello, Benny Benassi, Hardwell, Tommy Trash. Stay tune for their remix of Diplo & Oliver Twizt’s “Go” which comes out on 11/8.

Hoodie Allen – “James Franco” (Official Video)

Hoodie Allen, the beloved hip/hop artists for his uplifting and genuine style, just released a comedic video for his single James Franco off the Leap Year Mixtape. We previously featured a video from the same release for the song “Chase Is On” a couple months back and now we have Hoodie Allen walking down Venice Beach and Hollywood blvd chanting the Anthem James Franco (if there ever was one) and the randomness that goes along with its street characters. With cut out, over imposed faces of James Franco on people, witty lyrics and a feel good beat, it is easy to love this video and still love James Franco.

[Hip Hop/Dubstep] La Da Boomman Feat. Tity Boi and Yo Gotti – We Up In Here (Mayhem Remix)

This song is even chunkier then it’s title which just about manages to squeeze everyone in! Throwing down a freekin’ tight bass line, Atlanta born Mayhem has done a brilliant remix on this track. Hailing from Atlanta, the 28 year old producer usually has more of a drum ‘n’ bass sound so he’s ventured out a bit on this mix. LIPS – Everything To Me (Adventure Club Dubstep Remix)

No need for an introduction to the Montréal dubstep duo Adventure Club, as we have feautring them countless of times for their unique style of to subtlely mixing dubstep elements into popular indie songs, James Vincent McMorrow’s “We Don’t Eat” being one of them. Just yesterday they released a remix of the New Zealand born, New York based indie-musician LIPS, enhancing the original arraignment of “Everything To Me” into a slow burn dubstep track perfect for that last song to end the night.
