Loud Luxury – All For You (feat. Kaleena Zanders) [TMN Premiere]

Loud Luxury
All For You (feat. Kaleena Zanders)

To start your week off right, here’s a track to get you amped up. Toronto-based duo Loud Luxury just released this future bass goodness titled “All For You”, and it features one of the most powerful and soulful voices in the game and deep house golden child, Kaleena Zanders. This heavenly match together created something special, a track that’s going to be the next summer club anthem for many.

A series of piano chords kicks off the tune for our listening pleasure, and set the scene for the soaring vocals. The crafty melodies are then followed by a deep bassline, which immediately steals the spotlight. The subtle approach gives it the deep factor without being overly heavyhitting. It’s one of those songs that will increase your adrenaline level tenfold after your very first listen.

Loud Luxury is setting the bar high with this release .With the help of Kaleena, they’re well on their way to take on the future house scene. So get your dancing shoes ready, and vibe away to your next favorite jam.

Pillz (Dr. Fresch Remix)

In today’s climate of rapidly shape-shifting musical tastes coupled with sub-genres literally popping up overnight -specifically in dance music; we get a chance to witness some special artists knock the proverbial ball out of the park amongst a smorgasbord of evolving sounds. One such case study in aural diversification has remained L.A.’s Dr. Fresch. We’ve featured the envelope pushing chameleon before, from analog bass swingers to sultry future groovers and we’ve still yet to be disappointed. On the latest house-tinged remix from the Prep School Recordings boss, we find him taking on one of James Franco’s finest film co-stars (and a pretty decent rapper) Gucci Mane with a future revision of party-favor ode “Pillz”. The track gets pulled from Gucci’s club scene straight to the underground dance halls in which future jack (especially in the UK) has really begun to take hold, behind a sterling slick set of crisp, uncluttered legato synths, which pump an innovative feel to the standard four-four kick and swinging bassline that permeates so much of house music. We’re sure this one will be making the rounds around the interwebs as Dr. Fresch continues to solidify a presence as one of dance music’s fastest rising commodities, so get a leg up on all those trendy friends of yours and hear his remix of “Pillz” before anyone else thanks to an official ‘TMN Premiere; and snag the free download in exchange for a Facebook “like” here.

[House] No Doubt – Hella Good (Dr. Fresch Summer Revival Remix)

No Doubt
Hella Good (Dr. Fresch's Summer Revival Remix)

With temperatures rising stateside, our auditory focus always begins to shift upwards towards more radiant, sunlit sounds, especially in regards to dance music. So right when we were in need of some honey-coated shake inducing deep rhythms, L.A. house purveyor Dr. Fresch gifted us with his newest remix; this time of No Doubt’s 2001 pop smash “Hella Good”. While the original tune doesn’t exactly scream pool vibes or palm trees aside from lyrical content, Dr. Fresch has reinvigorated “Hella Good” and Gwen Stefani’s luscious, powerful vocals with signature highs and a rooted bass line; but taking this edit to even greater heights is an absurdly groovy alto-saxophone line written and performed by Sapphire Adizes which just oozes sexiness. We’ve been all ears to Dr. Fresch’s latest string of remixes, and today’s will certainly keep us in that piqued state of mind. Grab a Mai-Tai, slip on a little Summery dance attire and grab the free download to kick this Hump Day into gear.
