[Future Bass] Galantis – Gold Dust (CRNKN & Hotel Garuda Remix)

Galantis
Gold Dust (CRNKN & Hotel Garuda Remix)

There’s no question that Galantis‘ “Gold Dust” has won the hearts of many during the short period of its release. The melodic elements of the tune have given us feels from the beginning. This official remix by Hotel Garuda and CRNKN took on a different path and should help further skyrocket their fan base.

The emerging all-star combination of Hotel Garuda and CRNKN fuse their defining sounds together to create a potential club anthem. A fast house beat followed by pitched down vocals start off the tune. The progressive approach is kept and made for a great buildup for the future bass drop. Credits to them for keeping it original and not caving to specific genres. This track can be found on the official remix EP for “Gold Dust,” which is available on iTunes now.

[Progressive] Galantis – Gold Dust

Gold Dust (Original Mix)

Swedish electronic duo Galantis is quickly rising to the top of the game since their release of “Runaway”, as they came out with its music video last month. To keep the ball rolling, the talented group released “Gold Dust”, which is another magical hit that gets you addicted in an instance. Started off with pleasant keys, the powerful vocals strike in and hit us right in the feels. The beat drop is filled with airy synths that create an uplifting melody. The product is something incredibly catchy and emotionally-driven that you just cannot stop singing along to.

Galantis sure knows how to make quality music. Whether you’re a rave-goer or not, this track will soon become a festival anthem. Be sure to follow these guys as the track comes out Feb 23 on Big Beat Records!

[Deep House] Galantis – Runaway (U & I) (Lash Remix)

Runaway (U & I) (Lash Remix)

It’s always refreshing to see producers go outside of their comfort zones by playing around with new sounds. Dominican Republic duo, Lash, decided to step away from Progressive House and toy around with some good old Deep House with their latest remix of Galantis’ “Runaway (U&I)”. While most people might be stuck ‘not evening’ after listening to this remix, we on the other hand, might have just found the song that might put an end to this white girl epidemic consisting of pumpkin spice lattes and poor grammar.. That might be too bold of a statement but we do think that Lash gave us a remix to get down to for the rest of the season. Filled with heaps of sexual basslines, bursts of disco synths, and futuristic house elements, Lash takes “Runaway” to an entirely new level of attitude. Now that Galantis has opened this song up for producers to play with, expect the internet to explode with remixes galore just like we saw with the Odesza “Say My Name” remix contest. We think Lash is off to a good start with a remix like this, so make sure to give it the love it deserves!

Help (Elephante Remix)

It’s a well-known fact that Galantis is a blogger’s dream come true. When Christian Karlsson of Miike Snow and Linus Eklow (Style Of Eye) teamed up to start making progressive house we knew we were in for something special; we just couldn’t imagine how great it would actually be. They have absolutely taken the Internet by storm and now seem to building up even more momentum through their touring. Last week, they let out a remix EP and while each track is great in its own right, we think we found the crown jewel. Elephante has rapidly become one of the most well-respected creators in the electro house field, however he flexes his melodic capabilities on this one as the end result is a stunning, practically cinematic, progressive house edit of Galantis’ “Help”.
