[Future Bass] Galantis – Gold Dust (CRNKN & Hotel Garuda Remix)

Galantis
Gold Dust (CRNKN & Hotel Garuda Remix)

There’s no question that Galantis‘ “Gold Dust” has won the hearts of many during the short period of its release. The melodic elements of the tune have given us feels from the beginning. This official remix by Hotel Garuda and CRNKN took on a different path and should help further skyrocket their fan base.

The emerging all-star combination of Hotel Garuda and CRNKN fuse their defining sounds together to create a potential club anthem. A fast house beat followed by pitched down vocals start off the tune. The progressive approach is kept and made for a great buildup for the future bass drop. Credits to them for keeping it original and not caving to specific genres. This track can be found on the official remix EP for “Gold Dust,” which is available on iTunes now.

[House] SNBRN – Raindrops (Hotel Garuda Remix)

SNBRN
Raindrops (Hotel Garuda Remix)

Before Hotel Garuda took on the future house scene, they were masters of the sax. Reworking SNBRN‘s “Raindrops”, the duo puts out a sax-y track that is reminiscent of their “Summertime Sadness” remix. The beginning melodies fill in just the right mood for the tune, and the deep bassline comes in for a dance breakdown. The emotionally driven vocals by Kerli are perfect for the electro-pop tune, as it captures hearts and makes everyone sing along. The fusion of summertime vibe and future bass works wonders.

Hotel Garuda manages to turn the electro-pop tune into a one-of-a-kind dance track. Picking just the right tunes for edit, the duo always finds a way to impress everyone. This remix will be available for purchase April 28, so get your popcorn ready because Hotel Garuda is about to take over the electronic dance scene.

[Future Bass] Kanye West – All Of The Lights (Prince Fox X Hotel Garuda Cover)

Kanye West
All Of The Lights (Prince Fox X Hotel Garuda Cover)

Being that it was Hotel Garuda‘s 1st birthday couple days ago, they decided to treat their fans (and themselves) to a collab remix with NY-based producer Prince Fox. Stripping down Kanye West‘s “All Of The Lights” and dressing it up with a future bass outfit, the three talented individuals did the then-Top 40 track justice by showing creativity and originality. Starting off with a series of pleasant piano chords, the hip-hop classic is then suited with a house beat accompanied by vocal samples that are robotized and lowered in pitch. A catchy bassline combined with bold synth leave everyone in awe as to how the heck they managed turn the original into this future house goodness. The celeste synth in the middle that color the main melody of the track steal the spotlight unexpectedly, giving it a rather ominous and mysterious vibe.

With this release, both Hotel Garuda and Prince Fox once again proved that genres don’t define their music. Every remix has been a surprise, showing diversity and talent. You’ll be on your toes anticipating for new stuff coming out. Hats off to these producers, and stay tuned!

Nobody Else (Hotel Garuda Remix)

Here we have a juicy dance tune to help ease the mid-week struggle. Electronic duo sensation Hotel Garuda just came out with this remix of Full Crate x Mar‘s track titled “Nobody Else”, and it’s everything you’d expect and more. The already catchy original track that carries a PBR&B vibe is spiced up and turned into this house goodness. Without overdoing it, Hotel Garuda incorporated a futuristic bassline and trap beat that almost resemble the sound of Disclosure. The bouncy and complex drumbeat will make you get off and dance your pants off. That’s guaranteed.

We’re thoroughly impressed by yet another dope track by Hotel Garuda, hats off to the talented duo. Make sure to check out another remix of the same song by Sebastian Carter, or click here while you’re at it. There’s always time for good music.

Sleepless (Hotel Garuda & Thero Remix)

What happens when indie dance meets tropical house? The answer lies in this Cazzette remix by house specialists Hotel Garuda, which consists of Manila Killa & Candle Weather, and Thero. The electronic trio’s ever-changing sound is what catches our attention, and their true talent shines through on this track. The original vocal sample is used to drive the tune, accompanied by bold drum beats and tropical synth. The killer sax melody that comes in after definitely stole the spotlight for this track, which also marks Thero’s signature sound. The tropical approach to this tune seems so organic without being overdone. Kudos to Hotel Garuda and Thero for being able to collaborate on this feel-good track.

Stay tuned for more from these talented musicians! We are definitely expecting big moves from them in 2015.

[House] Lana Del Rey – Ultraviolence (Hotel Garuda Remix)

Lana Del Rey
Ultraviolence (Hotel Garuda Remix)

Do you know what time it is ninjas? It’s time for another Lana Del Rey remix to make those moody Mondays not so moody. We know, Lana is pretty much the Adele of 2014, but we don’t see her fading off anytime soon because a) Lana has fiery redhair (biased) and b) her eerie, sadgirl music makes it more fun for producers to spice things up a bit. Today we are stoked to give you the latest House hit by NYC/LA producers, Hotel Garuda, with their stellar take on Lana’s “Ultraviolence”.

The moment we pressed play, we found ourselves falling down the rabbit hole into a place where we were instantly seduced by 90’s synths, beachy basslines, and Lana’s flawless voice. Hotel Garuda turned this classic song into something truly extraordinary and we can’t seem to stop listening. If anything, we think this remix is symbolic to that of a siren in which we are sent into an elusive trance and we haven’t yet snapped out of it. These guys definitely know how to enchant their listeners – maybe too well…

If you make it out of this remix alive and want to experience the magic in a live setting, make sure to catch Hotel Garuda next month (9/26) at Webster Hall in NYC along with Tropical House king, Thomas Jack.
