[NYC Event Preview] Webster Hall Presents GOTHAM w/ AC Slater, Jack Beats, Alex English, Dischetto, & TJANI

Calling all NYC party people. In case you haven’t heard the news already, NYC’s historic venue Webster Hall recently introduced their newest weekly event GOTHAM. The party takes place every Saturday in the grand ballroom of Webster Hall where the club immediately takes on a dark, heated, and taboo atmosphere. You’ll find yourselves feeling as if you’ve just entered DC Comic’s Gotham City as acrobats and dancers take their positions all around the dance floor (and ceiling).

The real ambience is set by long time Webster Hall resident Alex English in addition to Gotham residents Dischetto and TJANI as they spin deep and underground techno selections. If this isn’t convincing enough to experience the party for yourself, maybe this Saturday’s lineup will be. On November 26th, Webster Hall invites the founder of Night Bass himself, AC Slater along with fellow bass aficionado Jack Beats to take the stage making this a night you don’t want to miss.

[Mad Decent] Major Lazer – LAZER STRIKES BACK Vol. 1

If you were looking forward to the new Major Lazer album as much as we were, I’m sure you were disappointed to find out that it was delayed until next month. Of course that doesn’t mean we go empty handed because they have just posted the first volume of LAZER STRIKES BACK , a three part series of remixes. Jack Beats throws his signature sound over the Major Lazer – Flux Pavillion bass monster “Jah No Partial”. YellowClaw‘s “Get Free Money Remix” was in our very first Trap Dojo. The Hardstyle influenced “Original Don” gets an old school Techno feel with a huge emotional electro finale. The final song is the Major Lazer extended remix of Hot Chip‘s “Look At Where We Are”. JACK BEATS – About to Get Fresh Ft. Chiddy Bang & OV

About to get so fressssh

Our dreams have come true. Three of the most prolific artists of their corresponding genres have come together for a beat too fresh not to check out. Jack Beats commissions the popular indie hip/hop duo Chiddy Bang and Foreign Beggars’ OV for a few energetic verses wrapped around a bouncy Juggernaut production. “About to Get Fresh” is a beat-based track, much what you would expect from Plus One and Beni G.

Flux Pavilion – Daydreamer feat. Example (Jack Beats Remix)

TMN: Going back to previous releases, we still consider your “Get Down” as one of the most amazing uplifting bangers to date. Any plans to produce more aggressive tracks in the future?

PO: There’s definitely a couple on the album. We have the concept down for the second album, and we think it’s going to be quite hardcore.

PO: Yeah, we just did a remix for Flux Pavilion, and it’s pretty much as banging as we’ve ever gone.

A few weeks back we got the chance to sit down with the down to earth duo, Jack Beats. We remember distinctively how our heart rate spiked of the a possible remix for Flux Pavilion. Long anxious days had to pass to get to this very moment but finally, Jack Beats, alongside Dillon Francis and Danny Byrd have released their very own remix full of their signature style of pure bass play. [New] Big Boi – Shutterbug (Jack Beats remix)

After all the sloppy rips and crappy uploaded youtube videos of this song, I present you the real thangg. Jack Beats comes out with a simplistic heavy bass remix of Big Boi’s Shutterbug from his recently released album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. At times DJ/Producers are so eager to create the next banger remix that often forget the original melodies in its entirety over-saturating it with layers of effects and bass. This is completely not the case as Jack Beats have delicately extracted what makes Shutterbug so great and added an entire new electronic suit giving the song all the authority to start creeping the dance floor.
