While we typically reserve songs this soulful for Sundays, we couldn’t help but share this latest single from Jarred A.G. with you all today. Veering from the typical grungy, streetwise anthems we’ve grown accustomed to, the hardened emcee gives us a glimpse of his sensitive side on this smooth Jay Retro produced cut. Featuring a guest verse from Carl (of Hurt Everybody), “Frequency” is exactly the type of mellow track you’d want to tune into during an afternoon break, just as you’ve wrapped up lunch and begin contemplating your plans for the evening. It also proves once again, that Jarred is not one to be slept on, and if you’re like us, you’ll have replayed his verse at least a few times by the end of the day (his singing voice isn’t half bad either).
