[Hip-Hop] Kreayshawn – Like It or Love It (ft. Kid Cudi)

This morning Kreayshawn let loose likely the most anticipated collaboration from her upcoming album featuring Cleveland’s lonely stoner, Kid Cudi. In a recent interview, Kreay described this as a “punk inspired” cut on which Cudi provided guitar riffs and the two artists worked together to produce the right sound. The result actually does carry a punk vibe with an instrumental driven mostly by heavy drums and erratic delivery from both emcees often associated with the genre. Cudder assists on the instruments and vocals of the chorus as well as delivering a verse with his always unconventional, introspective bars omitting the aura of a rock star.

[Hip-Hop] Kreayshawn – Twerkin!!! (ft. Diplo & Sissy Nobby)

The corky Bay Area native, Kreayshawn, burst onto the hip-hop scene with her massive single “Gucci Gucci” back in 2011. Since then, she has expanded her following and received cosigns from a variety of artists all the while continuing her strange, entertaining evolution. With a stream-of-consciousness flow and a truly creative style, Kreayshawn is sure to catch your attention at the very least.

On her most recent single, Kreay teams up with super-producer Diplo and New Orleans bounce music mainstay Sissy Nobby for a track worthy of its name. Diplo, who has a history of spotting talent, creates a bouncy, bass-injected instrumental and gets behind the mic for a warped, but addictive, chorus. Kreay delivers with her signature steez and Sissy gives us a taste of her unique vocals as well.
