[Trap] NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel – Aftershock

NGHTMRE & Boombox Cartel
Aftershock

NGHTMRE and Boombox Cartel – two of the hottest acts in the trap scene have teamed up for this massive track. NGHTMRE‘s “Street” and Boombox Cartel‘s “B2U” have both been supported and played by big names at festivals. And if you’re not familiar with them, “Aftershock” will give you a pretty good impression of what their sounds are like.

Similar to “B2U”, an intricate and infectious piano melody starts off the tune, then followed by a series of soaring synths that please your ears. This gives a false sense of serenity before the massive drop, which features a heavyhitting electro-bass sound and adrenaline-provoking drums. This 180-degree flip will take you through mixed emotions and most importantly, you will dance your ass off.

Out as a free download on Mad Decent, this collaboration between NGHTMRE and Boombox Cartel is one of the biggest trap songs in the game right now. We cannot wait to hear this at their live sets everywhere.

[Future Trap] Slumberjack – The Others (NGHTMRE Remix)

Slumberjack
The Others feat. KLP (NGHTMRE Remix)

As most of you already know, NGHTMRE has a pretty huge tendency to go ham on tracks, and if you didn’t already know, this remix of his will make it quite clear. It also should be said that Slumberjack goes hard as well. Those who are familiar with Slumberjack’s original “The Others,” know that the track is pretty insane. But let NGHTMRE put his spin on the track, and it becomes something epic. “The Others” takes on a transformation as the tempo becomes quicker, the bass kicks harder, and the drop contains a more concentrated melody. As always, NGHTMRE exhibits some incredible creativity with production that always puts listeners on the edge of their seats. So crank up the bass, sit back, and get ready for your mind to be blown.

Trying to stay motivated to get through the mid-week struggle? Here’s something that’ll help you. Production duo Slander have teamed up once again with fellow LA-based producer NGHTMRE for another banger. Tweaking Loleatta Holloway‘s vocals and pairing them with uplifting melodies, the joined forces knock this one out of the park. The high pitched vocals definitely give it a majestic vibe, while Slander’s signature big room drops highlight what follows. The combination of these different elements works wonders, which are showcased most notably in the vastly contrasted drops. Heaven trap, as they call it, is the most fitting description for this epic track.
