Although he’s commonly known as the King of the Trap, T.I. has no problems with getting in touch with his inner pimp. He’s already explored this side of his personality on such singles as “My Love” with Justin Timberlake, and most recently, “Blurred Lines” alongside Robin Thicke and Pharrell. One thing that seems certain as we listen to this remix of Daft Punk‘s “Get Lucky,” is that it definitely doesn’t seem to be official. Hell, it’s even debatable whether Tip’s verse was specifically recorded for this track all, as his flow sounds a bit discordant at times. However, we might just be able to chalk that up to the fact that this song was never meant to have a rap remix. Even so, it’s fun to hear exactly how one would turn out. Do you guys think T.I. did an admirable job on this one?

After dropping multiple tracks from his latest full length this past month, R&B crooner Robin Thicke finally unveils his 6th studio album, Blurred Lines. Already seasoned in the music industry, Thicke is considered more of your mother’s favorite singer with his charming and mature sound. On this latest full length however, he teams with some of the top producers in the game and some rising emcees for a mix of 70’s funk, pop, dance, and an attempt at some dubstep and neo-soul.

Returning with a new sound and a controversial video to match, the 2013 Pharrell-produced summer hit-maker, “Blurred Lines”set the tone for the new Thicke on this album. It’s catchy, young, and fresh, but still holds an organic sound that sets it apart from the heavily-synthed music that plagues today’s radio. Adding T.I. for a quick “hip-rap” feature, there was no surprise that this single reached number one status on the charts.

His follow-up, the Dr. Luke-produced single “Give It 2 U” featuring Kendrick Lamar and the Timbaland-produced “Take It Easy On Me” turn the tables to a more dance vibe by adding some subtle dubstep-influences for easy marketable radio-success. “Get In My Way” is a nod to the past, with a 70’s inspired disco sound that comes across as light and effortless, while ‘Feel Good’ is the trance-pop tune that should appeal more to the European markets.

T.I. and Lil Wayne are embarking on their nationwide America’s Most Wanted tour later this summer, so to generate some excitement they let go of this new collaboration, “Wit Me.” While the track isn’t exactly breathtaking, it’s far better than most of the material either of these two have released recently, and is sure to get plenty of parties started in the coming months. In case you missed it, check out T.I.’s GDOD compilation mixtape, comprised of artists from his Hustle Gang imprint (including B.o.B, Iggy Azalea, Trae Tha Truth, Chip and more). Also, stay tuned for the video for “Wit Me,” which Tip and Weezy plan to drop later tonight.

Have you ever had one of those mornings where you wake up and have trouble remembering the events that transpired the night before? Then, as you examine your surroundings, you realize you’re sitting in a brand new Bugatti? Yeah, good times. If you haven’t ever had the pleasure of such an experience (and if that’s the case, what’s wrong with you?), we’ve got a few fellas here who’d love to describe what it feels like. Featuring the likes of Meek Mill, T.I., Wiz Khalifa, Birdman, French Montana, 2 Chainz, Future and of course, DJ Khaled, the star studded remix to Ace Hood‘s hit single “Bugatti” goes even harder than the original. The first half of the song is particularly strong, with energetic verses from Ace, Meek and Tip, while the second half starts to fall flat. In the end though, we’re left with a new heater from Ace Hood, and that’s all that matters. After dominating the radiowaves with her single “Pour It Up” over the last few months, Rihanna decided it was finally time for a little remix action. Well, little probably isn’t the proper term, as this one features some heavyweights (that’s not a shot at the MMG Boss). Taking the strip club anthem to the next level, we now have the likes of Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Juicy J and T.I. all describing the typical ways they like to blow their money. Ignoring the ensuing awkwardness that is sure to occur when Jeezy and Ross find out they’re on the same track together, this is a pretty great remix that definitely accomplishes its goals of making you want to spend your stacks. You know you’re definitely bound to hear this one everywhere in the upcoming weeks.

Newcomer Trinidad Jame$ recruits fellow ATLiens, T.I., Young Jeezy and 2 Chainz to hop on the star-studded remix of his hit track, “All Gold Everything.” The track was premiered by DJ Holliday on Atanta’s Streetz 94.5, hence why we have to settle for the clean version for now. Even with the censors though, it’s easy to get addicted to this slowed down, Southern-cooked anthem. You know this one’ s definitely LeBron James approved.
