Choirs Sing As Tchami’s Prophecy Tour Lands In Richmond [Contest]

2016 was an intense year for Confession artist and owner Tchami. The french producer embarked on a Pardon My French tour with DJ Snake, Mercer, and MALAA while throwing in plenty of festival stops of his own such as Mysteryland and Moonrise along the way. Now he’s back with Mercer for an unforgettable North American Prophecy tour .

Tchami’s infusion of hip-hop and dark future house is gracing The National in Richmond, VA on February 11th and we have a contest to help you get there along with a friend. Fresh off tearing up his set at Ultra last week, Parisian producer Tchami returned yesterday with another remix and it’s, unsurprisingly, another instant hit for the quickly ascending talent. This time around, Tchami takes on “Timeless,” Italian vocalist Caroline Koch‘s debut English single. Koch’s self-described “deep pop” vocals prove the ideal canvas for Tchami as he creates a dynamic build into a bass-driven future house cadence. All the moving parts in this one make for a listen equally enjoyable for relaxation and the dance floor. Tchami’s remix will be featured on Caroline Koch’s upcoming “Timeless” remix EP, due out April 13th on Dirty Soul Records, and comes as an instant download with the iTunes pre-order.

At one point or another, we all have contemplated what comes after this life. With this daunting concept, Tchami shows his darker side on his new original, “After Life,” which marks the first taste of his After Life EP. On this tune, Tchami weaves through shadowy atmospheres before exploding into his signature synths for yet another future house gem.

As if the song wasn’t already enough, Tchami also release the “After Life” music video. Following a day in the life of a man dealing with his own personal demons surrounding death and the After Life, the video is a thought-provoking, emotional experience that’s fitting for the song.

[Remix EP] Oliver – Mechanical Remixes

When an artist makes an amazing song, other artists want to make good remixes of said song. We all know and love Oliver, the LA producing duo whose songs are favorites everywhere they are played. And because these songs are so loved, Oliver put together a four-track EP of four of their songs remixed by a few of Oliver’s favorite artists. The first song, ‘Night Is On My Mind’, is remixed by the beloved DJ Hanzel or his twin Dillon Francis. He takes this beat and just adds a Francis twist, some drum and electronic beats mixed with some high paced melodies and this remix is one to get the feet stomping. Next is ‘Control’ remixed by Nom De Strip who rocks the original song into high gear. The beats are so quick and full of energy, a mix of razor sharp synths radiate through this song, electro house is far from dead people. The third installment is ‘MYB’ remixed by Tchami who takes the song and puts an almost jazzy/garage sound to it before the high beats take over. Another high energy remix sure to get anyone dancing. Finally, Values gives us his take on ‘Mechanical’. Values is a new, young producer who shows us how talented he really is in this song. A little 80’s pop feel mixed with dancy beats, this remix should be in some movie, or just played as one song in the playlist for your life. All of these remixes reflect on the amazingness that is Oliver and shows just how much their music is admired among their peers.
