The Trap Dojo is here again with all the beats to wank you out of your boring life and drop you into a euphoric land of 808s, where the sidewalks clap with snares on every off-step and you can feel comfortable either throwing a deuce out of the side of a smoke filled lowrider or singing along with emotionally charged remixes of tween pop-hits and everything in between. Brillz does what he does best on this heavy track thats certified to turn any turnt up dance floor into a full scale, elbows and fists, moshpit. The only thing that could possibly make Keys N Krates killer track any beter might be some sharp lyrics which King Louie, Tree & Cyhi the Prince deliver on this remix. Rustie and Salva remix a couple killer hew hip-hop tracks including verses from Pusha T, Tyler the Creator and Sage the Gemini and K Theory keeps the hip hop vibe right on going with an original track. Next up is three tracks from thefaded. ‘s newest (and last?) release “One Last Time EP“. The whole EP is 11 tracks which are all solid gangsterdam bangers so download it all free at the link above. Kid Sister, Smookie Illson, LVX, Tropkillaz and Goon Bags all bring their own booty poppin twerk bangers. [MP3 Playlist] The Trap Dojo #27

This weeks Trap Dojo is divided into four sections. The first track, from thefaded. kicks off with a massive build up that will have you saying “Wait For It” to drop that almost never seems to come. The mood and pace continues to build over the next few tracks, including the UZ remix of “Cowboy” by Zeds Dead, a remix of Baauer’s “DumDum” and climaxing with Alex Young‘s insane remix of “Ah Yeah”. The next four songs are all spaced out trap bangers. Starting it off with the deep and jazzy “Ride Up”, heRobust infuses some electro beats, and the other two tracks lay down a big room sound thats still thuggin enough to hear coming out of the trunk of a Cutlass. I should warn you that the next section is going to be an all out assault on your senses. Starting with some dark drumwork in the intro, “Brain Splat” drops a bassline that will leave your head splattered over your backseat like Marvin from “Pulp Fiction”. DJ Snake throws some dark trap with a hardstyle twist over French MC, Stromae’s aggressive bars, then Team Bayside High does something crazy and makes the heaviest track we’ve heard to date. Remixing none other than Pantera, they are able to chop the heavy riffs into filthy trap beats, and June gives us some spooky bass to finish. Our final section includes a remix of the “Django Unchained Theme” by Kissy Sell Out, some Cyber-Footwork from the LOLGurlz and three progressively more emotionally evocative Love trap songs for a beautiful send off.

Kicking off the 25th edition of The Trap Dojo, we have a huge remix of Rihanna’s “Jump” from Club Cheval, the same group that was behind the Nero – “Won’t You Be There” remix. This version keeps Rihanna’s chorus, a cover of “Pony” by Ginuwine but fills in the blanks with some hot verses from Theophilus London and some hot trap beats. Next up is D!RTY AUD!O‘s track from the recent Trap-a-Holics Certified Trap 2 Mixtape filled with frantic synth work and aggressive verses. After remixing “Milkshake” by Kelis, GoldTop shows that they have a flair for remixing silly female tracks into full on trap bangers, this time hitting “Lip Gloss” by Lil Mama. Hard hitting basslines, horns and sharp drumwork keep the track fresh and is sure to be a dancefloor smasher. Bird Peterson is back with another of his Drankenstein remixes, this time taking on the spacey, prog-house track “Cosmos” and keeps many of the great proggy elements, while still completely transforming it into a definitively Drankenstein track. The next track, from newcomer $1 Bin is full of horns that are on an epic scale, building up the aura before dropping it into a grimy dirty bassline with all the snares you could ask for. This is super tight production, and i’ll definitely be keeping an eye on this guy in the future. The rest of the list has plenty of favorites like O.G. Status, Huglife and Knuckle Children all with fresh tracks for you, so make sure to check them out and enjoy them. CNTRL starts off the Cool Down, fusing his hip-hop sampling with trill bells and a deep bassline. Hucci makes use of his sample from The Temptations “Here I Come” in his trill banger, while Alter Natives close out the list this week with the emotional “Sierra’s Theme”. Clearly inspired by tracks like “Lana’s Theme” from Flosstradamus, they turn the original Freshly Ground song, “I’d Like” into a heavy, emotionally charged trap anthem, whose quality is right up there with “Lana’s Theme”
