Scaling back on his bigger sound, Tim just added an essential Valentine’s Day jam to your playlist, whether you’re holding it down solo or spending it with that special someone. The already smooth tune is aided by new and lush synths, big 808s and an almost tropical groove that brings the R&B classic into 2015 with a new swagger. The Austin native never falls short on his remixes, and he certainly did us all a service with this recent take on Mario.

In my eyes, it’s pretty hard to remix such an anthem track like “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and do an amazing job. Not only did Tim Gunter do a great job, but he caught the attention of folks at Diplo & Friends- specifically Benzi. With a heavy brass section for the lead, and a fat 808 bass, this song will have you dropping it like it’s on fire. I typically don’t post anything except chill stuff, but how can I pass up Tim Gunter’s remix of “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. If you have a burning desire to drop it, then this Tim Gunter remix will help!

Happy Valentine’s Day Ninjas. In the spirit of the season we’ve put together a playlist of some of the best romantic trap music we could find. Much like Dubstep, Trap as a genre already has more sub-genres than you can think of. One of these sub-genres that has been making some waves is Love Trap. This playlist is full of names you might already be familiar with like eSenTRIK and Hucci, while others are names you should definitely familiarize yourself with like Kastle and Kaytradana. The first half of the playlist moves through some trill, lyricly infused romance before the second half gets jazzy, using saxophones over the trap or juke beats.
