On You
In yet another top-notch installment of Yours Truly‘s Songs from Scratch series, talented Australian vocalist/producer and oft Flume collaborator, Chet Faker, joins forces with DMV-based emcee Goldlink for the breezy jam, “On You.” Faker provides some chilled-out, hypnotizing production adding some stellar vocals of his own before the talented Goldlink takes the mic. Always showing off his versatility, the rapidly rising artist kicks his verse off with a second chorus of sorts before speeding his delivery up into well-timed, clever rhymes. Faker ties the ending of the song together perfectly with a jazzy, soulful piano outro accompanied by a percussion breakdown.
