Friday night we were lucky enough (no pun intended) to hang out with Chicago-based producer Lucky Date. What ensued was not only an absolutely amazing show, but an amazing evening in general. We’ve seen a lot of shows in our time, and we’ve yet to see an artist engage with his fans as much as Lucky Date did. Before the show he was out in the crowd, and after the show he was in the smoking section signing autographs and taking pictures. He is friendly, funny, and appreciates his fans to the fullest. (Check out this pic that he took with his fans after his set!)

‘I Want You’ is a brand new release today. Lucky Date still manages to keep dropping tracks even though he is undergoing a massive North American tour and with this track, he yet again exceeded our expectations. Both the intro and build-up have a synth-driven big room feel, making it feel larger than life. The best part is that while it maintains a beautifully composed production with echoey vocals and soft breaks, it also keeps Lucky Date’s signature hard hitting electro house we are so fond of. We’ve always been fans of his music, but this just might be our new favorite.

Make sure to support Lucky Date and pick up this track on Beatport.
