It’s never going to be easy to take one of the classics of electronic music and remix it to reflect both your style and the original. But DJ and producer Vaski somehow pulls it off. Building up from quiet synths in the intro, Vaski’s remix of Darude‘s ‘Sandstorm’ quickly turns into a montrous dancefloor filler. Stuffed with harsh grinding beats that drive the track, this powerhouse of a remix updates Darude’s original for the dubstep era, whilst retaining that classic sound.
