It’s not February yet, but VALENTINE is what we have on our minds. Apparently, the same thing could be said for OWLSA, who backed the mysterious producer for an official remix of “In Stone” by BASECAMP.
One of the things we love about this one is it doesn’t exactly fit nicely into a specific genre. It’s sort of a few different things, but doesn’t really fit snug anywhere. Everything from the sound design to the song’s composition is done at an expert level. VALENTINE’s remix stylistically isn’t straightforward, but also the songwriting isn’t either, as the track develops from beginning to end without any moment of stale sound.
