Doghouse Records dropped a superb track from R.LUM.R called “Nothing New” last week. “Nothing New” is a sweet alternative electronic original that was produced by Ethnikids. The beat is absolutely sick, which isn’t very surprising given Ethnikids’ involvement on the record. R.LUM.R’s vocal performance is something to be cherished. Ravishing lyrics are expressed by the Nashville artist, whose dynamic record is something we wouldn’t mind coming across on top 40 radio stations. It’s one of those tracks that we hope more than just the underground gets a hold of, as it’s not watered down with anything. Rather, it’s genuine artistry that conveys deep emotions.
