Goldwash
LDR

Fusing together soulful, 60s-style, between-the-sheets lyrics and experimental future R&B musical soundscapes, Goldwash has us swooning over his immensely unique product, yet again.

It shouldn’t come as any surprise that this quickly-rising artist is rapidly being picked up by esteemed critics, publications, radio stations, and DJs alike. With an all-too-alluring voice, and truly impressive production capabilities, tracks like “LDR,” as well as the rest of his stunning catalogue, are piling up as reasons to believe that Goldwash is on his way to becoming a household name.

Today’s release is the title track from his upcoming debut EP, and it beautifully showcases his breadth of his musical talent. A sensual bassline, wavering synths, accentuating piano work, and perfectly placed claps create a vibe-heavy atmosphere that perfectly carry the full range of his voice and lyrical implications. If you want to dig deeper into those lyrics, which we always advise with a bit of caution, you can check out what he had to say about the track below:

I had just pulled several all-nighters to finish up my work in my senior year of college. After turning in my thesis in the morning, I met up with some friends and went to hang out in the woods to celebrate the glorious weather and our statuses as former students. I was wandering among the trees, deliriously tired, and I started to think about how the person I loved was living with a spiritual cult on the opposite side of the world. I realized that even if we were thinking of each other, the different circumstances of our lives had created a deep chasm between us.
