Listen up, electro fans: LA producer Shlomo, part of the Wedidit Collective, has created one of the stand-out chill tracks of 2011. Much like Flying Lotus and Nosaj Thing’s work, ‘Places’ is ambient with bite – relaxed but never predictable, with beats and effects that add a real edge to the track, making it an indispensable song for every occasion. ‘Places’ will feature on Shlohmo’s forthcoming ‘Places’ EP, released March 15 through Friends of Friends Records.
