FAIRCHILD
Nom De Guerre

Paying an artful homage to some deep-rooted musical influences, Australian-born, Manchester-based FAIRCHILD IS giving the 1980s a modern facelift with tracks like “Nom de Guerre.”

Dropping on their Breathless EP, this tune features some delightful New Wave influences, brought into the spotlight with some booming percussion work and wavering keys and guitar. The instrumental combination provides a highly engaging soundscape which acts as the perfect backdrop for the alternating slow-n-seductive verses, and stadium anthem choruses.

If you’re digging those lyrics, you don’t need to scramble across the internet to find them. Below you’ll find live footage from their first ever UK show at the Sebright Arms and it features perfectly sequenced lyrics. Aside from being able to belt this out in your car or bathroom mirror, you’ll also have a leg up for your next karaoke session.
