Cali psych-folk trio Megafaun have been around for a while, having played together in various incarnations since the mid-90s before forming the band in 2007. Since then, they’ve put out 4 records, including this year’s ‘Megafaun’, an intriguing blend of rock, folk, country and psychedelia, including highlight track ‘Kill The Horns’. A quietly powerful ballad, ‘Kill The Horns’ has a certain star quality that could make it everyone’s favourite new track.

    Okay seriously, Megafaun’s from North Carolina.  Raleigh folks are really proud of them, they are absolutely not a Cali band.  That’s an egregious fact error.  One commentor already corrected it.  C’mon.
