Taking a slightly darker tone than ‘If I Had A Boat’ (previously reviewed on this site), this cut from James Vincent McMorrow’s debut album ‘Early In The Morning’ is a wonderful slice of adult pop. The gorgeous backing vocals and jaunty guitars are a great contrast to McMorrow’s husky yet delicate voice. This has a strong chance of being one of the songs of 2011, its quiet beauty taking over the hearts and minds of listeners. ‘Early In The Morning’ is released on January 25th, and based on the track alone, is well worth a listen.
