This post will mainly serve as a public service. We are a quarter of our way into 2012 and we thought “Somebody That I Used to Know” remixes would already be over with. Tiesto has just come out with a new house spin to the track that just feel “alright”. At a live show, I am sure the track will reach great feedback since it is always welcome to have indie songs wiggle their way into electronic sets, yet the track ‘as is’ does not tickle me the way some other renditions have. Perhaps it is just too late for Tiesto, perhaps we are just burned out from listening to “Somebody That I used to know”, or perhaps we are just having a grumpy morning.
