A few weeks before the release of Kendrick Lamar’s Good Kid, m.A.A.d. City, Lady Gaga confirmed rumors that she had been in the studio with Lamar and that the two had struck up a close friendship. Fans of both eagerly, and anxiously, awaited the track only to be disappointed when Gaga announced that, due to timing issues, she would no longer be featured on the project. However, she did promise to put the song out at a later time and, staying true to her word, today she gives us what was likely the original version of a song that has already reached legendary status. Gaga only appears on the chorus, but her presence is powerful and, surprisingly, fits perfectly.
