Brighton’s own Salt Ashes has brought some heat with “Raided,” her new original backed by Radikal. A cool mix of indie with nu-disco forms this super jam. There’s a vintage vibe to the sound that makes it feel as though it didn’t just get released in 2015, but it has a timeless nature to it, lending itself to be more than just a track you’ll have on repeat for today. Chances are, you’ll be coming back to this for a long time. It’s just one groovy record that Salt Ashes did an absolutely superb job on all around. From the production to the vocals, it’s all gold. Disco gold that is. Clubs beware, because chances are high that they will be “Raided” by Salt Ashes wonderful work.
