Dive are a band that hail from Brooklyn, and they possess a sound which at first seems typical of bands from the area – jangly guitars, wistful vocals, etc. But it’s tracks like ‘How Long Have You Known’ which really set Dive apart as something special. With infectious guitar lines and reverb complementing the questioning and hazy vocals, this track creates a perfect gloom-tinged summer atmosphere. Look out for Dive’s debut LP ‘Oshin’, out June 26.
