Freedom Fry are one of new music’s best-kept secrets. The duo, comprised of Parisian Marie Seyrat and New Yorker Bruce Driscoll, have been making waves on the blogosphere since they dropped ‘Earthquake’ on Valentine’s Day 2012, and their latest single “Summer In The City” looks set to take them even higher. “Summer In The City” shows off the band’s knack for creating simple pop songs with a sultry ambiance, mainly thanks to Seyrat’s cute French-accented vocals. Their enchanting cover of Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot’s “Bonnie & Clyde” proves that Freedom Fry have the talent to make it big. An album is rumoured to be in the pipeline, so stay tuned for more from this wonderful pair.
