After what’s seemed like much too long of a lull, San Diego’s Pinback have returned, gearing up for the release of Information Received, their fifth album and follow up to 2007’s Autumn Of The Seraphs. Their newest song, “Proceed To Memory,” captures very well both the rawness and sentimentality of the indie rock duo, especially as it slowly crescendoes into an impassioned anthem halfway through.
