CRUISR
All Over

Summer may be coming to a close, but based on what we’ve found in the past few days, there’s plenty of music that begs to differ. Today’s offering comes via the latest Vagrant Records signee, CRUISR. This Philly-based four piece dropped “All Over” just minutes ago, giving the blogosphere a taste of what’s to come of their debut EP (September 23rd). Lifelong fans may have just cringed at that last sentence, but it holds true. While having released music under the moniker Cruiser in the past, the band is somewhat starting back at the beginning, clearing off their Soundcloud for everything CRUISR.

With a cascading blend of playful vocal harmonies, a dance-inducing bassline, and some quick bursts of clean guitar work, “All Over,”  has an anthemic pop structure that immediately induces grins. The hook-inspired, lyrics leave the listener completely engaged through the short, yet infectious three-minute ride. Carrying sportive associations to the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, Vampire Weekend, and even newcomers The Griswolds.
