morning-benders
With their sophomore album, The Morning Benders are set to shed their obscurity and take the indie rock world by storm. While their debut, Talking Through Tin Cans was a decent collection of catchy folk, it suffered from poor production and an overly simple style that kept it from reaching the ears of the masses. For Big Echo the group brought in Chris Taylor of Grizzly Bear to co-produce. The result is a densely layered and gorgeous slice of folk rock. From the lush vocal harmonies of “Excuses” to the slow-building power of “Stitches,” the Californian quartet’s latest album is not to be missed. Read full review at inyourspeakers.com
