“Did I never show you this? Me singing with Deportees!<3” tweets Swedish singer Lykke Li yesterday, linking to a new track titled “A New Name To Go By”. This collaboration, featured on the latest Deportees album Islands & Shores, sounds like the result of three Swedes meeting up for a game of beach volley ball. And, though that would be an unfair 2 on 1 match up, Lykke Li has a steel drum on her side to rebound pop ups and make beautiful beach melodies- which compliment her vocal parts nicely.
