Young Dutch DJ and producer Nicky Romero is regarded as one of the rising stars in techno, and based on ‘Solar’, it’s not hard to see why. ‘Solar’ is a great floorfiller, which although not brash and loud, simmers with a quiet intensity, slowly drawing you in with its pulsating progressive beat. A lot of his previous work, including his remix of Green Velvet’s ‘Flash’ has been supported by big names like Tiesto, Fedde Le Grand, Laidback Luke, and Chuckie. We will definitely keep both eyes on Romero this year.
