Rob Bravery
A Calendar Life

There’s no doubt about it. When looking at the calendar, a lot of anxiety tends to pop up around the end of the year. For some people, it could be the stress of the holidays. Or maybe it’s the fact that another year has come to pass them by. Regardless of what the reason is, we’re always looking for ways to escape, if even for just a few blissful minutes.

If you find yourself overwhelmed by one of the aforementioned situations and in need of slowly drifting away into the calm, look no further. Bristol-based folk singer/songwriter Rob Bravery is ready and willing to lend a helping hand, and is doing so through his dreamy tune “A Calendar Life.”

Riding along with a lackadaisical strum of an acoustic guitar, one can’t help but get completely lost in Bravery’s stunning vocals. His tone is delightfully warming, beautiful on its own and even more so when accentuated by the soft humming harmonies in the background. While the song may take on a glowing, tranquil and beautiful persona, the video illustrates a much different interpretation, displaying quite the lonely scene. Perhaps it’s an interpretation of his time in Berlin, or perhaps it’s meant to be from the present, looking back at those times. Whatever it is, it’s downright entrancing, encouraging us to press play again and again.
