Steel Train, they of the spirited live shows and unique musical stylings, are at it again. With their new song “Turnpike Ghost”, they give their longtime fans something more to love while opening themselves to new fans. Typically with a Steel Train album, you can hear the unique utilization of various instruments masterfully crafted into melodies. With sheer vocal talent laid on top of those melodies, you get great tracks at every place.

But first, we are very excited to share with you a new delicious remix fresh out of the labs of dj/producer Andre Anjos better known as RAC. We spoke to Andre about his intentions for remixing Steel Train’s ‘Turnpike Ghost’, “I essentially attempted to give it a more bouncy groove that fit tegan & sara’s vocal more adequately. I’ve always felt like T&S lend themselves to simple structure & poppy arrangements”. While the uplifting remix contains a lot of warm sunny electronics, the track is bound to leave you cool and refreshed this summer.
