Hailing out of Marietta, Georgia comes singer-songwriter Ron Pope, whose latest album “Atlanta” blew us out of the water, packed with truly breath-taking adult pop songs of pure emotional honesty. On July 21st he will be joined by the beautiful and talented Brooklyn-based singer Frances Cone, who recently released a wonderful video for her romantic ballad “Come Back” a few weeks back. To celebrate their upcoming show, the two performed a heartfelt cover of Jump, Little Children’s 1994 song “Mexico” from their Between Dim & The Dark album. Atop of a NYC rooftop Ron Pope pays tribute to this wonderful classic but it is really the vocals from Frances Cone that give this acoustic redition warmth and balance.

Go see Ron Pope & Frances Cone play together in New York City! – July 21, 2012 @ Webster Hall Studio @ 7pm. Ticket info here.
