[Hip-Hop] A-Trak & Falcons – Ride For Me feat. Young Thug & 24hrs

It’s been long said that A-Trak and Young Thug have a lot of material ready to fire off. Recently we got a piece of the action by way of their song “Ride For Me” with Falcons and 24hrs. This hip-hop heater was released on Fool’s Gold Records with quick praise from fans and media alike.

“Ride For Me” sees each collaborator work off each other selflessly. Instead of having too many cooks in the kitchen with sounds/styles clashing, these four acts came together as a team to make something particularly dope. “Ride For Me” is currently out on digital platforms, so if you’re looking to add it to your library you may do so.

Tommy Trash & A-Trak – Lover feat. Jesse Boykins III (Hood Rich Remix) [TMN Premiere]

Welcome to the dojo for another first listen with a premiere from Hood Rich. From our friends at Fool’s Gold Records comes an official remix by the Queensland producer of “Lover” originally by Tommy Trash and A-Trak with Jesse Boykins III. Although the track is due out on the Group Chat Remixes EP, we’ve come together to give you an early listen to this bumpin’ cut a day early.

Hood Rich gets deep and dirty with this fresh take on “Lover.” House and tech heads are in for a real treat with this one as it’s smooth grooves are just what clubs and festivals are desiring. The original single was a bit more upbeat, with an electro edge to it that Hood Rich trades for a darker tone. Overall it makes for a solid remix with a sound completely different than the original. Hood Rich made it his own while doing justice to the original tenfold.

Heads Will Roll [DiscoTech Remix]

A-Trak approved, DiscoTech‘s new remix of “Heads Will Roll” is a show stopper. Yeah Yeah Yeah’s and A-Trak get flipped by the Miami duo and released for free. They go future house for an energetic, neck-breaking record. In checking out their Soundcloud, they’re no strangers to producing dope remixes from acts like Major Lazer, Notorious BIG and Ed Sheeran. Remixes of this sort come out a lot, however the quality of the remix isn’t always there like it is with this one. DiscoTech get two thumbs up from the ninja squad for their incredible work on “Heads Will Roll.” Safe to say, they got heads rolling, and bodies dancing.
