[Music Video] Apashe x Vladimir Cauchemar – RIP

Apashe has long been one of the most interesting producers out there and at this point he’s earned the right to be called a composer too. With his classical influence that brought him to record an album, an EP and more with real orchestras, he’s one of dance music’s most iconic creatives and now he’s back with another iconic musician in the masked Vladimir Cauchemar.

There song “RIP” is a beautifully contorted blend of styles that one can only describe as cinematic house. It’s a hypnotic record that comes with an even more astounding music video. Apashe has been widely recognized by his impressive music videos before, but the visual counterpart to “RIP” is bigger than ever. It’s grand, sharp, indulgent and Earth-shattering (literally). Apashe has long been a go-to producer for hybrid sounds. His last couple of remixes has seen him inch towards a slightly different route and now he’s back on the original grind with “Supernova” featuring Dope D.O.D. of the Netherlands. Released on Kannibalen Records, this single has all the bass you’d expect.

“Supernova” is a blend of genres including trap, hip-hop and dubstep. The collection of sounds, mixed with Apashe’s international influences, makes for a track that can be enjoyed anywhere, where you’re headbanging to it at a festival or just bumping along to it at home. Dope D.O.D.’s addition to the record brings some appreciated grit to the dirty original. “Supernova” dropped today for anyone looking to add it to their Spotify playlist or get a copy for their digital library.

Take a nice big deep breathe. We’re at our 250th volume of our Friday Party Playlist. It’s been a long time coming, but Dabin‘s full length album is finally here. Two Hearts was released today through Kannibalen Records, so the LP is currently available on digital platforms for you to stream or download. I’m going to tell you now that you are going to be adding this to your library; it’s well worth the price.

Two Hearts features eleven singles with collaborations from Mree, Jenni Potts, Lexi Norton, Koda, Madi, label mate Apashe and one of Youtube’s finest stars in Daniela Andrade. This project is more than an album, as it expresses a familiar tale of love and loss that many, if not all, of us have gone through. Dabin reaches deep, bringing out strong emotions, both happy and otherwise to bring this album to life. Favorite singles off the LP include “Lilith” and “Hazy” but that doesn’t take anything away from the other incredible records like the highly successful singles “Hold” and “You & I.” Don’t skip a beat as you check out the full album below and make sure not to forget to get a copy!

What do you get when you mix Dabin, APASHE, and Madi into one beautifully written track? A melodic and mind bending sensory overload capable of tearing us in three different, but very welcome, directions. Released as the second single off of Kannibalen Records artist Dabin’s album, Two Hearts, the triad of sounds that is “Lilith” melds together the sweet vocals of Madi, Dabin’s delectable instrumental melodies and the well-known hard hitting bass of APASHE. While the track starts out smooth we’re soon catapulted into a heavy drop of synthy bass giving “Lilith” a pleasant and unexpected twist. Two Hearts is set for release on March 31st, however pre-order is currently available on iTunes. If you go ahead and pre-order, you get the single early!
