[House] Bobby Nourmand – D U S T

BOBBY NOURMAND
D U S T

One of the coolest cats around goes by the name of Bobby Nourmand. We were lucky enough to catch him in Miami and chat a bit and he told us he had something coming soon… And now that something is here. His single “D U S T” dropped today as a free download.

Bobby keeps things very chill with this deep cut that samples the great Moby. Although the song leans heavily on a relaxed, cosmic sound, Bobby still infuses a steady groove crowds can connect to. With shows on the horizon like the illustrious Tomorrowland, that groove is going to come in handy. Bobby has always been a unique producer pushing his own brand of house, one that stays true to the roots while taking things a step forward. Take in “D U S T” today and keep at the ready for more from Bobby Nourmand.

[Deep House] Bobby Nourmand – D E E P in NY (feat. D.O.C. & Goodmorning)

D E E P in N Y (feat. D.O.C. & Goodmorning)

One of the coolest cats in the business is Bobby Nourmand. He’s already wowed us with his previous records including “Sister” and “Because.” Now he has brought along “D E E P in NY,” a hybrid original that may be Bobby’s best.

With “D E E P in NY” Bobby brings together deep house with hip-hop in a way that few have done successfully before. He always manages to produce with grace and precision, a deadly combination within his musical market. In delving into hip-hop, Bobby enlists D.O.C. and Goodmorning as collaborators on this vocal edit of sorts. If you’re a fan of Bobby’s you’ll recognize the instrumental as one of his previous releases. “D E E P” gets some New York lovin’ from the emcees just after Bobby gets donned as one of the hottest new artists by both DJ and Mix mag. Safe to say, he’s got some special things coming.

B E C A U S E

1969 was a long time ago. It’s the weekend, so we’re not going to do the math, but all those years ago The Beatles created a song called “Because” that was released on the iconic Abbey Road album. Flash forward to now, and we have Bobby Nourmand turning out a dark, minimal re-imagining of the song that the ninjas are delivering to you before anyone else with this premiere.

Bobby comes to us from Los Angeles with an affinity for remixing classic hits from the likes of The Doors and the Rolling Stones. He keeps the ball rolling hard by creating a haunting production of “Because” that will have you feeling all sorts of goosebumps in the best way possible. Keep the frisson going by throwing this on repeat, just as we have, or download it for yourself without spending a penny!
