[Jungle Terror] Fight Clvb – Savage EP

Fun fact, when I first got into the music industry, my very first interview was with Stephen Vasquez who has now become Fight Clvb alongside the hypest of hype men Mystereo. Back before Fight Clvb, Stephen was just as humble as he is today, putting hard work first and disregarding fame and recognition. Since then Fight Clvb became what it is today and now the duo has another EP, this time released through the Barong Family.

The Savage EP is just that, savage. Complete with three originals and a VIP, the Savage EP is a pillar for jungle terror. The latin/tribal sensibilities it has have always been something Stephen has managed to implement well into his works, which comes as no surprise when you know he was 1/2 of Sazon Booya. In running through this EP, it’s not easy at all to pick a favorite as each song is major and the list of collaborations including Bunji Garlin and Clinton Sly is phenomenal. Best part is each track can be downloaded for free. You’re welcome.

[Electro House] Ingrosso & Salvatore Ganacci feat. Bunji Garlin – Ride It

Anything with Bunji Garlin, we’re in. We were once told by a good friend of ours that he is like the Michael Jackson of Caribbean, which gave us a little laugh, but as far as popularity goes, we couldn’t refute it. His talents have not only swayed the people of his home, but people around the world, including a whole lot of dance producers, including Ingrosso and Salvatore Ganacci who recently featured him on the single “Ride It.”

This track may take your by surprise like it did us. Epic is the only word that really comes to mind with this song. From the start the stage is set for a hit record, with a baller introduction that sees Bunji setting the tone for the party-popping drop that is to come. Even if you’re a stickler for underground music and don’t even try to appreciate the works coming from big name producers like Ingrosso, there’s no way you can’t love this track. We hate to use the over-used term banger, but that’s just what “Ride It” is.

[Multi-Genre] Bad Royale – Immutable Timeline EP

Bad Royale stands out above most acts for several reasons. One is their combined personalities that turn heads, and another is their music that get heads banging. Their unique style is unrivaled, and they continue to put out records that increase in quality each time out. The most recent outing was with Mad Decent via their EP Immutable Timeline.

Immutable Timeline is another five track project that is jam packed with the boys’ Caribbean bass sound. The really cool thing about them is no matter where they take the sound, whether it’s through trap like with “Dutty Heart” or moombahton with “All We Need Is Love,” is that they kill it time and time again without delivering anything with a hint of stale. There are few acts that can crank out records at the Bad Royale pace, and their are even fewer who can put out only fire tracks. The Immutable Timeline EP is another example of their prestige within the music scene as a whole. They didn’t put this one together alone, as is usually the case since they work with collaborators. This time around they created magic with IAmStylez, Konshens, Suit of Black and their buds Bunji Garlin and Richie Loop. Head on over to iTunes to get your copy of the EP. It’s worth every penny.

[Multi-Genre] Bad Royale – Move Like EP

Prior to their Move Like EP, which Mad Decent picked up for release on June 26th, Bad Royale finally made the announcement of their identities. Maor Levi, Kevin Wilde, Bruce Karlsson (Norin & Rad) and Elias Ghosn are the four dorks that make up the squad who have been tearing it up with a recent string of releases on Buygore. Now, they’re here with the formerly mentioned Move Like EP.

Five tracks total contribute to the EP, which pushes the jungle and trap sounds harder than any other four brothers could. All but one song is a collaboration, with Richie Loop hopping on two, as well as Dominique Young Unique, Bunji Garlin and Marq Pierre joining the madness. As far as fire mixtapes go, this EP is an absolute inferno, with this ninja’s personal favorite track being “POP.” If you’re looking to turn up, look no further as Bad Royale knows exactly how to take a party to the next level.
