Maybe I just don’t have my priorities straight or my electro fiendiness has clouded my common sense, but this track for me is the essence of the Summer of Love. Grab your girl, swing her onto your shoulders, and get ready to bounce to the tropical electronic grinds of this twisted little bender. A remix of Swedish House Mafia‘s track “One” Congorock has masterminded this juicy bit with stellar, Cumbia-inspired deep percussion and choral synths – that form the building blocks for the overall construction of the track’s massive reverberating soundscape; which are characteristic of Congorock’s sonic drives. Coupled with his bass-laden, reggaeton-in-da-club track “Babylon” released just this past March, Congorock has taken the dance tech soundwaves by tropical storm.
It’s time. A post for our electronic fans. I realize the last couple of weeks I have mellowed out and it is time to stick to my electronic roots and give you the best mp3’s of what upcoming electro/house producers and dj’s have to offer. The Music Ninja crawled the entire music blogosphere for some of the newest tracks that have been released in the past couple of weeks. This is not a Best Of collection but comes pretty damn close. YOU CAN ALSO DOWNLOAD THEM ALL AT ONCE ON THIS ZIP FILE. Share it with all your friends! Enjoy!
ITS THAT TIME AGAIN! Dance music is what keeps me alive at work, and what keeps me going at night. Here are a VARIETY of AWESOME tunes… the house-ish slow ones, the completely devastating electro tracks.. and everything in between. I scavange the internet for music and electro/dance blog like gottadancedirty.com, chemicaljump.com and dancingastronaut.com always have the sexy scoop of fresh updates. Should I also Include a zip file?? Enjoy!
Another hard-hitting instalment of the Designer Drugs Datamix has arrived. Numbero Nueve features a couple of really old tracks mixed in with early 2010 bangers. However whether some tracks are recognizable or not, you can’t deny the fact that the mix as a whole is a total win! The Music Ninja hopes this mix can give you the extra push to party the entire Saturday night and as always, please dance irresponsibly.
Just like the guys at Gotta Dance Dirty put it, Rusko and Sub Focus are a match made in Hades. Amber Coffman’s sweet delicious vocals DOES NOT PREPARE YOU for the ear bleeding, heavy bass hitting of a beat that comes next. Thank the electro gods for not only giving Sub Focus the talent but the extra compassion needed to have a soothing housey break in the middle of such a filthy drum and bass track.
By now, Midge does not need an introduction here at The Music Ninja. He supplies us with monthly Electro House mixes from his live sets at Milk Face @ the 333 in Shoreditch, East London every first Saturday of the Month.

Designer Drugs (Michael Vincent Patrick and Theodore Paul Nelson) lead lifestyles of the rich and famous, but are really just poor boys who love helicopters and pop banger music… and have recently released their 8th amazing head banger of a mix = DATAMIX 08. While I was a bit surprised they used a couple of old tracks, this mix is the smoothest and best collection of electro songs I’ve heard this year.
