Still Parade – Beach [TMN PREMIERE]

Still Parade
Beach
A person does not grow from the ground like a vine or a tree, one is not part of a plot of land. Mankind has legs so it can wander.
― Roman Payne, The Wanderess

If the feeling of wanderlust had a playlist associated with it, Still Parade would be one of the artists featured. Their lush soundscapes are delicately orchestrated in a manner that lets your mind wander, freeing your mind of any of the daily minutia, if even just for a few sweet minutes.

As we’ve come to expect from this Dreamfolk outfit, this latest release is once again chilling, to say the least. Carried by clean, simplistic guitar work through the first two minutes, the cinematic quality that we’ve come to love about these guys is still very much in tact. The drawn-out intro focuses mainly on the lead singer, only accentuated by occasional supporting vocal harmonies.

“Beach” comes off their EP Fields, which was digitally released earlier this year via Serve & Volley Records. Now teamed up with Day By Day Records, this beauty, along with the other songs on the EP, will be pressed onto vinyl and up for grabs on September 19th.
