[Electronic] Mansionair – Easier (Electric Mantis Remix)

Mansionair
Easier (Electric Mantis Remix)

It’s been several months since we’ve heard any new material from Electric Mantis, but thankfully the wait is over. Since the explosion of “Flips And Flops, Drips And Drops” three years ago, he’s concocted a slew of innovative remixes, along with the massive Braincase EP, and now this fresh take on Mansionair‘s “Easier” provides the same amount of gusto and hard-hitting bass that he’s made all his own.

There’s a refined sense of sleekness throughout the tune compared to some of his previous work as it juggles the delicacy of the vocals with his signature style, and it truly feels as though Electric Mantis has found the perfect medium between power and poise on this remix. If you dig this one, absolutely check out his original tune “Daybreak” that was released on Majestic Casual a few months back. It’s always great to see a familiar face back on our SoundCloud feeds, and Electric Mantis continues to bring quality material to the table every single time.

Future beats producer, Electric Mantis, has had quite the year. From remixing artists like Giraffage and Gramatik, to putting out an original EP, the rising producer shows 0 signs of slowing down. As one of Majestic’s first releases, he’s unveiled “Daybreak”, a dynamic production that leaves me wanting more. Hit play and enjoy. And check out what Majestic has to say about their new imprint.

Majestic Color is our new series of free to use music — from creators for creators. You can use Majestic Color tracks for your YouTube videos without having to worry about copyright issues. We want to challenge today’s status quo of the music industry who protect their property from “infringers”. We in contrast believe that music should be accessible for everyone.

Why the name Majestic Color? Well, we believe in the variety of music, that listening to music should be something free of boundaries. Every color has its own unique voice. Just like every of the music pieces we release.

Infatuation

He’s been slightly quiet as of late, but Electric Mantis breaks his silence with an enormous new tune that’s set to be on his new EP, BRAINCASE. The influence of the first tune that really gained him exposure, “Flips and Flops, Drips and Drops,” is apparent in “Infatuation,” but that’s the sound we’ve grown to really enjoy in his work. There’s unique mesh of glitch, hip-hop, and futuristic elements that deliver a result so heavy that your speakers might not survive after a few listens. Electric Mantis has kept his head low and truly been working tirelessly to craft his niche in electronic music, and BRAINCASE is going to be his next big shot to truly shine.
