THE WEEKEND IS HERE! AND WHAT BETTER WAY TO CELEBRATE IT WITH SOME SHOTS OF PATRONE AND ELECTRO HOUSE TUNES! .. ok no more caps.. but I would like to introduce you to yet another collection of some of the best electro/house tunes blogged in the last couple of weeks. Obviously major props to Gotta Dance Dirty for always providing daily dance tunes for us electro junkies. This collection is not as hard hitting as previous ones but its definitely got enough to pump your brain with energy. Although most of it is new, I did include a couple of old favorites.
It is finally here! I’ve been waiting for the post as much as you guys. It has been a while since I went hunting for some awesome electro jams to get me through the weekend and every time I am in need of crazy ELECTROGASMIC tunes GottaDanceDirty.com never disappoints. Gotta Dance Dirty is a music blog based out of L.A. CA and Miami, FL who always are on top of both the best underground and mainstream dance hits. Most of them are DJ’s themselves so their quality filter is high. If you have twitter check them out at @gottadancedirty.
I hand picked all this songs and made sure it included a little bit of everything from ear-bleeding frequency stretched baselines to soft and subtle bubbly electronic melodies. There is dance-able pop’ish tunes to killer hardcore dubstep. Most songs are current but they are no all necessarily 2010 exclusive.

I know what your dirty minds are thinking, ‘Milk Face Party’ sounds like a couple of guys doing a filthy and dirty act. And well, you are right! These Electro House DJ’s from London calling themselves Milk Face have a pretty simple and clear goal: To play dirtier, messier, bassier and more fucked up every month! And this is the kind of attitude that we encourage.
If you need to get your electro fix to start your day or to end your night, check out this HOUR LONG recording of a live set they did @ 333 club in Shoreditch, East London.

Many people do not have the “luxury” to listen to music all day like we do (which is probably a good thing! lol). We visit a lot of music blogs, browse over music blog aggregators like mog.com, hypem.com and elbo.ws. Looking at the way people communicate through twitter we realized that one of the best ways to share and discover music is to retweet someone else’s twitter message. For those of you who do not use twitter, “retweeting” aka RT is basically repeating someone else’s message as our own but still giving credit to the source.
Our goal is to expose you to the best songs out there, no matter if we discover it, or our music blogger friends do!
This remix by Steve Aoki got a HUGE amount of love on hypem.com for the first week of December. Blogged by Disco Punk, Steve used Kid Cudi’s Pursuit of Happiness and transformed it into a much more techno sounding version adding a standard bassline and synthesize melodies. A great remix for any dj to have.
Covered by The Pop Cop on their Live coverage of Regina Spektor @ Academy, Glasgow describing how she was able take control of the situation after an over enthusiastic fan landed a t-shirt on her face. Her responce “I’m OK. I’m glad it was a soft landing,” really demonstrate her sweet personality.
You Don’t Know Me is the name of the lead-off single from Ben Folds‘ third studio album, Way to Normal
One of the firsts blogs to pick this song right away was our friends at jp917 thought it was really the Spanish blog No Naci en Manchester that was able to promote the higher quality album version.
Hot Chip’s new single that is dropping early 2010 shares names with the album itself. “One Life Stand is an electronic pop track with hints of electronic disco that almost turns into Caribbean music with its Calypso melodies after the first couple of verses.
Soooo Fresssshhhh. First time I listened to Jurassic 5 and loved it right away. The classy lyrics, jazzy background and calm tone makes them stand out of the hip/hop genre. One Sweet Song turned me to it and now its hard to turn away.
Kick in the Peanuts reported Paste Magazine‘s sit down with She & Him (Zooey & m.ward) about their second album “Volume Two” to be released during the spring of 2010 and provided their cover song of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins’ “I Put A Spell On You” which was released January 30, 2009.
Our friends at Disco Punk have posted a track that is just too good to not spread. Mustard Pimp remixed the talented Djs/producers Dada Life‘s “Lets Get Bleeped Tonight” and the added progression of electronic notes creates a much more melodic result.
Dada Life just recently released their November 2009 Mix and this baby right here will provide you with enough electronic music to party through Thanksgiving!
