Love Me Like You Do (HK Bootleg Remix)

It’s been a while since Henry Krinkle released something new, so we can’t tell you how excited we are for this one. I’m sure you’ve heard tons of remixes of Ellie Goulding‘s “Love Me Like You Do”, but this bootleg done by Henry Krinkle probably takes the cake. The “Stay” producer fuses chill house elements with Ellie’s smooth vocals, creating a suspenseful melody that drives throughout the whole tune. The gradual buildup followed by a throbbing drop goes to show what subtlety can achieve in a song like this.

Ellie Goulding-Love Me Like You Do (Gazzo Remix)

Gazzo just released this official remix of “Love Me Like You Do” by Ellie Goulding, once again showing his versatility in producing quality music. Whether it’s future bass, progressive house or electro, the Jersey-based producer’s got it all. Adding in a chill beat and intricate guitar melodies, Gazzo creates a dance track hooked with emotions. The original vocals are flipped and slowed in tempo to keep the authenticity of the tune. We knew that you just could not stop singing along to the original, and now you can sing AND dance to it.

Gazzo excelled at keeping us guessing, and this tune perfectly exemplifies that. We are very excited to ride along with a producer like him, who does not let genres define his sound.

Outside Ft. Ellie Goulding (Bad Vision Remix)

Future room? What is that you ask? It’s what Bad Vision cooked up with their remix of the Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding collaboration “Outside.” Obvious influences of big room are present, but don’t let that get you down, because what Bad Vision were able to do was spice things up in time for Spring fever. They’ve been known for their festival rocking records, and this latest one they did quite a number on. The use of counterpoint in the chorus is what really brings out the life in the track, which could have easily been made with the simple synth pluck melody. Instead, they went above and beyond to create something that has more than just one layer to it. Bad Vision pushed their take of “Outside” to the net for free, so if you’d like to download it, get to it!

[Progressive/Melodic] Calvin Harris Ft. Ellie Goulding – Outside (Anevo Remix)

Calvin Harris Ft. Ellie Goulding
Outside (Anevo Remix)

Melodic house recently surfaced onto Internet sound waves, attracting fans of more mild tones with its incorporation of live instruments like guitars, flutes, and others to keep the mood sublime. But with the surge of producers putting their hands into the melodic pot, the genre quickly became flooded with many soundalike tracks that created a need for a new innovative style.  Cue in Sweden’s newest star, Anevo.

The young producer has definitely turned some heads with the surprise factor in every production he has released thus far, but his most recent remix of Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s “Outside” is one that people should genuinely take the time to listen to. Whether you see it as infusing progressive house into melodic house or infusing melodic house into progressive house, the fact is that Anevo hit it out of the part. Developing a harmonious juxtaposition between Goulding’s soothing croons and serene guitar strums, Anevo strips the euphoric characteristic of progressive house to integrate it into a melodic house sequence to birth something truly refreshing.

This remix is perfect for those late-nights, early mornings, or 3 p.m. coffee breaks where you just need to chill out. Check out the stream above and grab the free download you definitely need here.

[Chill-House] Ellie Goulding – High For This (Kygo Remix)

Ellie Goulding
High For This (Kygo Remix)

22 year old Norwegian electronic producer Kygo, who is riding a warranted buzzsaw of press attention after a remix for Passenger’s “Let Her Go” charted at #1 on the Hype Machine charts for multiple days, just dropped us his newest remix effort for Ellie Goulding’s cover of The Weeknd’s “High For This” and it’s another grand slam outta’ Fenway. Kygo drapes Ellie’s unmistakable vocals in a hollow and lush four-to-the-floor kick which you could tell was his production only one bar into the tune, while only subtly tweaking the original synth line into a workable dance sound for a builder of a first half. But, the real magic occurs about halfway through as the very adroit composer lays down a completely original chord progression, immediately swallowing your consciousness which paces the rest of the track and sets it miles apart from the original recording. Once again, Kygo has offered this one up for free on his Facebook page in exchange for a “Like”, so go ahead and snag yourself a copy.

Explosions (Gemini Remix)

There is definitely no shortage to a remix to an Ellie Goulding song. A string of remixes to multiple tracks off her debut album Halcyon have been floating around the clubs and interwebs for the past year. Although some are more necessary then others, each Dj/producer has added their own unique spin to Goulding’s unique voice. Taking on the “Explosions” single is newcomer Gemini with a dub-step re-vamp.

Although dubstep has been on a steady decline, Gemini takes a refreshing and pulsating spin to Goulding’s vocals. Bits of the original track can be heard throughout the 140 BPM range beat and airy melody, but quickly fades with the heart-pounding breakdowns and oscillating vibes.
