Felix Jaehn was just getting started when he released his hit single “Hot2Touch” in May of this year. Since then the song has received millions of streams on several platforms, as well as a handful of remixes from talented producers. Today, we’re jumping back to the original, but now in conjunction with its visual partner.

“Hot2Touch” is an extremely fun and memorable song. The same things can be said about the vibrant music video that’s all fun all the time. From beer pong to dance routines this music video spans a wide variety of activities to deliver something exciting to watch. The Rooftop Boys have been on a tear since they graced the dance music world with their first remix of Yeezy’s “Bound 2” nine months ago. Their blend of tropical and future house elements are incomparable and really separate them from other producers trying to find their own niche in both genres. Just before festivals begin to kick off and summer is in full force, The Rooftop Boys have injected a fiery stimulant into Felix Jaehn’s revamp of Chaka Khan’s 80s hit “Ain’t Nobody.”

Jasmine Thompson is on vocals at the tender age of 14, but her voice is well beyond her youthful years with its mature complexity. The Rooftop Boys tend to her gracefulness with their boisterous melodies, but give it that extra edginess with a pounding, future house bass. Ultimately, its clear that the NYC duo should trademark their sound because it is truly an admirable one. Check it out below and add it to your growing summer playlist.

They’ve created simply astounding material together, and now the official remixes are beginning to roll in with a new contribution from Felix Jaehn. The tone is completely shifted from slow and sultry to upbeat and radiant as the future house influence charges full steam ahead. There’s something very Gryffin-esque about this tune, and if you aren’t familiar with Gryffin, that’s certainly a positive thing. We get real excited every time Felix Jaehn releases new music, and the German producer certainly did not disappoint with this one. Featuring Lost Frequencies‘ co-production and Linying‘s vocals, “Eagle Eyes” epitomizes quality music and mass appeal. The tune starts off with a catchy flute riff,which is a rare choice of instrumentation. These sturdy piano chords and xylophone quickly steal the spotlight, creating a joyful and upbeat experience. Linying’s vocals are clear and pleasurable which further lightens up the mood.

Felix Jaehn is definitely establishing himself as a frontrunner in this genre and popularizing melodic house. Together with tropical house, it will most likely become a household sound very soon. We cannot wait to see what else Felix has to offer.

Respected German producer Felix Jaehn just released this juicy Jaymes Young remix titled “One Last Time”. Also helped produce the track was London-based producer Chris Meid, who contributed to perfect this chill house goodness. Together they completely flipped the mood of the Jaymes Young song and turned it into this beachy and chill house tune, while keeping his vocals as the spotlight. The tropical synths and the sustained vocals really give it feel-good vibes. It is unlike any cliche house music you’ve listened to because of the slower paced beat and wave-like background noises.

This gem goes to showcase how talented these artists are for their ability to cross sub-genres while staying true to their music. Felix Jaehn is definitely one to watch, as he’s soon becoming one of the front runners of his genre and style of music.
