[Electronic] HONNE & Izzy Bizu – Someone That Loves You (Nicolas Haelg Remix)

HONNE & Izzy Bizu
Someone That Loves You (Nicolas Haelg Remix)

“Someone That Love You” is an absolute smash of a single. Seeing HONNE and Izzy Bizu working together is already an exciting enough fact on its own, but now the remixes have arrived and Nicolas Haelg has delivered his signature indie-dance style to this sunny tune. It goes without saying that the festival potential of this song is off the charts, and the overall tone epitomizes a sunny summer day out by the pool or on the lake. If you’re looking for a chance to just feel GOOD, throw this on and you’re sure to get a smile on your face. Bust out the umbrella drinks, because Nicolas Haelg is here to usher in the warm weather right.

We highly recommend catching both of these artists the next time they’re in your neck of the woods. Click here to check out HONNE’s tour schedule. Click here to check out Nicolas Haelg’s tour schedule.

[Pop] HONNE – No Place Like Home (Feat. Jones)

No Place Like Home (feat. JONES)

We always have something to think about when hanging with HONNE. They take us to the depths of our truest feelings as soon as they arrive and it’s easy to find some space to dive into. Feeling like there’s “No Place Like Home” can be especially strong when Andy and James bring their friend Jones along. Her impact is felt as the first artist to feature on an official HONNE single. Jones vocals match up perfectly with the precedent that has been set. This will find it’s rest on the recently released Over Lover EP, which is now available on Soundcloud, Spotify & iTunes. Let’s see what kind of remixes come out of this project.

Loves The Jobs You Hate

HONNE waste no time and immediately energize us one second into their brand new song “Loves The Jobs You Hate.” A perfect fit for the last song of the night, this is taken from the forthcoming Over Lover EP out on Tatemae Recordings/Atlantic Records on September 2nd. Since emerging with ‘Warm On A Cold Night‘ over a year ago, HONNE continue to hypnotize with their romantic music. They force you to listen to them differently than any other band–nobody does it like they do. On November 4th HONNE will play their first US show at Rough Trade in NYC, tickets here.

[Electronic] HONNE- Didn’t I

HONNE
Didn't I

More affectionate music from Honne as they cover ‘Didn’t I’ by Darondo. Once again their signature sound puts us in a floating and free state of mind. We’ve watched them grow from the roots up with electric singles and cinematic visuals, but now the duo is less than a month away from releasing their Coastal Love EP, expected May 4th on Tatemae Recordings. The build up and delivery of this new music will provide much needed momentum for their upcoming UK shows and eventual migration over to the US. As we begin to turn the corner towards the latter half of 2015, I feel that Honne has the capability to really own it. Pre-order the Coastal Love EP now.

Bassically (HONNE Remix)

Shortly after announcing a few festival plays this summer, Tei She unveils an official remix of her single ‘Bassically’. Emerging UK duo HONNE administers a clean and pleasant demolition that only further cements both artists into our minds. These particular three minutes and thirty one seconds are a luxury experience. This is an extremely polite collaboration. It will make you rise. Tei She will release her EP Verde on April 13th via Double Denim Records. Pre-order here. She will also be supporting Jungle on a couple of UK shows, including the last of their tour at London’s Brixton Academy.
