Infuze & Team EZY – Tell Me Again feat. FATHERDUDE [TMN Video Premiere]

A unique song stands out above the masses. The more unique, the more it stands out. “Tell Me Again” by Infuze, Team EZY and FATHERDUDE is like Shaq in a baby nursery, you can’t miss it. Today we’re the first to share this one-of-a-kind single, as well as its music video in this premiere thanks to Fool’s Gold Records.

“Tell Me Again” doesn’t hold itself to a genre, although some could make the case for future bass given its influence from the more experimental side of the genre. Together Infuze, Team EZY and FATHERDUDE cooked up a song that is as spastic as it is amazing. The introduction sets a smooth stage that the drop shatters into oblivion in the best way possible. For the video, the crew keeps it simple by focusing in on a televsion that shifts through simple imagery including its creators. “Tell Me Again” is out now, so grab a copy from digital platforms today.

The thunderous trap producer Infuze is back with the single “Alive” on Fools Gold featuring the golden pipes of singer/songwriter Brave. We have always loved the Bushwick-based trap and dance producer Infuze for his on-point arrangement ability and willingness to execute some serious left-field sound design, as we first heard on his remix for Bassnectar’s “Mystery Song”.

The same low-down, razor sharp synths that caught my ear on his remix for Nectar creep into “Alive” during the booming, spacious, traditionally-trap drop. During the buildup, Brave’s thematically simple but emotionally captivating lyrics layer well over the warm synth tones and arpeggiated melody laid down by the producer.

Often, and perhaps this goes without saying for some, a trap drop can sound played out. Yet Infuze keeps it fresh in his mix by infusing complex or unorthodox sounds which contrast well with more traditional trappings of this genre like the booming kicks and high-pitched lead melodies. Brave’s contribution also powers this track. We’re confident we’ll hear from her again at least a few times throughout 2017.

It’s the weekend before Halloween. This means you’re going to (most likely) be out partying to celebrate the holiday. We want you to be safe, but also have as much fun as you can. Part of the fun is going to consist of good music; that’s where we come in. We went ahead and did some leg work, as we have done every Friday, and collected our favorite free downloads from the week for you to enjoy over your days off. Vape connoisseur, producer, and DJ Brillz is currently heading around the United States for his Twonk Di Nation tour. Soon, he’ll be entering California for shows up north, as well as down south. Brillz decided to enter the dojo and offer up tickets for a few lucky fans. If you want us to get technical, we actually have two giveaways.

Brillz will be joining Party Favor and Infuze in Santa Ana on February 18th, and then San Francisco will get to enjoy Brillz with Infuze two days later on the 20th.
