Today, the forward-thinking combo return with a remix of Jeremih‘s “Planes” that only they could create. For the first few minutes, Lido lays down a textured, dynamic backdrop for Jeremih’s silky vocals that builds into a soulful break that, when accompanied with The Social Experiment’s signature horns, creates a uniquely jazzy, electronic-infused vibe. Chance drops in for the last minute with a verse that’s as on-point and clever as ever addressing lady problems in a way that oscillates between emotions effortlessly. This one’s perfect for your Saturday morning. We certainly hope there’s some more coming from these guys but this should do just fine to hold us over in the meantime.

For the latest installment of Yours Truly + Adidas Songs from Scratch series, producer Shlohmo and R&B star Jeremih team up for a new track titled “Bo Peep (Do u right)”. After teasing fans with a promo vid of them working in the studio, the two artists put visual into a dope new audio release. Mixing some electronic echoing noises with a sensual beat, Shlohmo provides a a nice smooth set-up for Jeremih’s vocals. Jeremih is no stranger to bedroom anthems and this pairing of electronic and smooth vocals make for an addictive slow jam. There isn’t anything much better to wake up to than a new track featuring two of Georgia’s trap hip-hop legends. While electro-trap gains momentum, Gucci Mane and 2 Chainz definitely deserve credit for being pioneers in molding the genre’s brilliant ignorance. On “Outta Control,” the two trapstars team up with R&B hit-maker Jeremih over the trippy production of KB to discuss those party girls who get just a bit too ratchet. This is a little more laid back than what we’re used to from any of these three artists, but Gucci and 2 Chainz deliver solid, entertaining verses with their always unconventional punchlines and Jeremih offers the perfect hook. Jeremih’s upcoming mixtape, Late Nights, is set to drop tomorrow and just might be worth a listen with quite a few notable features and production credits.
