Volume 265 of our Friday Party Playlist is here. It’s been a long time, but we’re not stopping anytime soon. Today we continue with another batch of free downloads from some extremely talented producers. You’ll find a dozen in this week’s collection, all available as free downloads if you’re still into that kind of thing. Collect them all or simply stream, no matter what you do we hope you enjoy them and have a fun weekend. When JETSET was releasing singles over the last month, I thought I had the direction of the EP pinned down. To my surprise, JETSET went a very different way, accenting his previously released singles with unique instrumentals that are more orchestral than electronic.

Mayday has been released as a group of free downloads. His heavier tracks like “Bloke Patrol” and “Sawed Off” are the real party starters, with dirty basses that will blow any crowd away. Throughout the EP JETSET adds in instrumentation that is more like something you’d hear from a composer, showing off songwriting abilities that go beyond many producers. To cap off the EP, he mixes the two styles evenly with “Finale” featuring jvnk. Mayday is a testament to what producers should be doing – creating unique works of art instead of just doing what other people are doing.

We start off quick by getting into some heaters from WHIPPED CREAM, LUCA LUSH, TastyTreat, JETSET and more. We keep the energy going until the last few tracks where we slow things down for you with some great vibey records from Folded Dragons, Blu J and more. Grime isn’t something I listen to on a daily, or even a weekly basis. I can’t even remember the last time I did, but now I’m all about it in the form of “Rain” by JETSET. This free download is just too unique not to love.

JETSET doesn’t take all the glory on this one as he enlisted osotyt to hop on this percussion-heavy beat. Together they pulled off a cool, but brooding single. It feels like the haunted house you just can’t help but going inside. For fans of any sort of electronic music or hip-hop, this is going to be your weekend treat. JETSET and osotyt’s “Rain” is out now, but you heard it here first in this Music Ninja premiere.

One of our favorite bassheads JETSET is coming out with his sophomore EP at the end of this month. He has kicked off the project by releasing a free download of “Sawed Off” which is the first single from the EP.

For fans of gritty bass, this is as good as it gets. JETSET has established himself as a dominant up and coming producer already and with this step he further shows he is a force to be reckoned with. With all the videos of people rail riding, breaking down the barriers at festivals, so many people are trying to make tunes that hit hard, but just miss the mark on creativity, but JETSET doesn’t fail in any aspect with this new single. Did Labor Day weekend sneak up on us or what? It feels like Summer just got started and now we’re in the final month of most everyone’s favorite season. Let’s not focus on how much time is left, instead let’s turn things up for the holiday weekend.
